The Eat, Work, Play Tray. {Lapfit #Review}

Over the last 10 years, we have started eatting on the run with our children.  We have dance lessons, football, baseball and softball on a weekly basis.  That is a lot of evenings away fromthe dinner table.  we have tried balancing food on our laps, only to be followed with spills and messes.  After we get the mess cleaned up, we have to entertain.  We do lots of coloring in the car.  Never convientent.  That is why I am in LOVE with the Lapfit!  It is every mother’s dream come true!  It is a food tray complete with cutout places for drinks and dip.  It also has a cover that fits over the top.  When the top is on, yolu can color, do homework, use a loptop.  It is 2-in-1 perfection! (I was sure it had to be invented by a woman-I was wrong, it was a man…but a DAD!) “The LapFit Tray’s patent-pending design features balance, comfort and stability in every area. With the messiest items balanced and secured in the center of the tray between your child’s legs, the chances of a major spill are minimized. The dual eating areas and raised edges keep food where it belongs. The form-fitting leg mounts fit comfortably to the child’s legs and add stability in the event of those sudden stops and turns. It’s comfortable, simple, easy and fun!

It’s also easy to clean! LapFit’s plastic construction makes it easy to clean with dish soap and water, or it can be placed in the top rack of the dishwasher. And, more than just a food tray, LapFit is a great work and play desk when you’re on the go, as well. Simply place the desktop over the food tray and your child can do their homework, read, color, use a computer – do just about anything! LapFit turns drive time and travel time into a fun, productive experience for your kids.The LapFit Toddler Tray is specially designed for kids who are old enought to be out of a “baby seat”, but are still required to ride in a toddler/booster seat in the car. The LapFit Toddler Tray’s rectangular cut-outs allow LapFit to sit comfortably and firmly on your child’s lap without being in the way of the booster seat’s arm rests. It is the perfect size for every toddler or younger elementary child. The LapFit Junior Tray is perfect for older elementary and middle schoolers. Larger than the LapFit Toddler, LapFit Junior provides a bigger eating and a larger work area for older children to do big kid thngs.”

We live in a little town about 35 minutes from “the city.”  Anytime we need something besides what Wal-Mart has in stock, we head in.  My kids don’t love to ride in the car.  We jsut got a new car and this one doesn’t have a DVD player in it.  It doesn’t take longe before the “I’m bored” starts.   We throw the Lapfit in the car, hit the drive thru and head in.  The Lapfit starts as a dinner tray….remember the new car thing….we try and keep it clean, but we do have 4 kids.  I love that there is a place for the dip and for drinks.  Since no spilling happened, I am happy and the kids move onto coloring.  Put the tray on top and whalla, the perfect coloring desk in the car.  I love that they fit perfectly in the back of the seat pockets!  The trays stayed on their laps wonderfully the grippers holding them in place.  I was also very impressed that they were such great quality.  I wasn’t worried about them bending or bowing under the weight of foot or toys.  Also, I super duper love that they cn be thrown in the dishwasher for easy clean up.  We recieved 2 of these, the 2 kids that don’t have theri own are already begging for us to get a couple more!

Where has Lapfit been all these years with my kids??? We were very excited to have the opp to review Lapfit.  We are a on-the-go family and we always struggle balancing activities and meal time.  We decided to test these out as soon as we got them. We were headed on a road trip to visit family and the kids were eager to take their new blue and pink Lapfit with them in the car.  First off they are sturdy plastic that is not flimsy. They feature nice notches on the bottom to help keep them on our toddlers legs while in their booster seats and the kids never complained abotu them being uncomfortable. They feature a tray which is smooth on the top so they can set their tablet on it and play or watch a movie. If you remove the top tray you find the perfect on-the-go meal tray. It features cut out sections that allow for easily placing food and drinks in them.  The kids loved meal time. I was able to put their juice box in them along with ketchup for their fries and everything stayed put.  I couldn’t believe that we were traveling without this for the last few years. I highly recommend Lapfit to any on-the-go family! It will make car time much easier for everyone!

We are definitely an on the go family and spend a lot of time in the car. I was so excited to get our LapFit trays and knew they would be a great fit for our family. With this one tray, the kids can eat meals with very little mess and even write or color while we’re on the road. The LapFit offers a steady, flat surface option for the kids to place coloring books to color and a meal tray option with several holes for placing all those easy to spill items up the middle. The LapFit sits perfectly in the kid’s laps and stays put due to genius the leg hugging base! I can simply clean the LapFit by wiping it down or washing it in the sink to easily get rid of any gunk or leftover food mess. The LapFit has definitely eliminated in car spills which I love; no more yucky mess on the floorboards! The kids also like to use their LapFit in the house while snacking or coloring on the couch! Our LapFit Trays have been getting constant use since arriving at our house and the kids can’t seem to get enough of them! Definitely a must have item and one that would make a fantastic holiday gift!
