Staying Organized With Gift Cards And Loyalty Cards SWAGG App Review

SWAGG has launched a new app that deals with the troublesome problem of how to deal with the overabundance of gift cards, loyalty & membership cards that clutter up your wallet or handbag. Basically you can load all those gift cards, loyalty points, etc into your iPhone or Android mobile device. SWAGG allows consumers to import more than 250 brands of gift cards and rewards cards and, unlike plastic cards, SWAGG permits consumers to view available balance and reward information on most of these cards. Additionally, consumers can use their mobile device to give, get and even exchange SWAGG GIFTS from participating merchant partners such as American Apparel Inc., The Wet Seal Inc., Crocs Inc., 1-800-Flowers.com and Arden B. Through SWAGG, consumers can access the offers that matter most to them, connecting users with more than 3,000 retailers. Retailers benefit by acquiring new customers, increasing in-store business and retaining existing customers.

Right now the SWAGG App is only available for download use on the Apple and Droid Mobile Devices. Every download through the month of December = $1 donation from SWAGG to Stand Up 2 Cancer. So download and help fight cancer! My take on SWAGG: How many of you have piles of Gift Cards just collecting dust? I know I do. I either misplace them or they end up missing 6-9 months down the road when I want to use them. Swagg is a new app that will help you stay organized with all that plastic. While it is a cool concept to store all my loyalty cards and gift certificates on, I have heard and seen some things that I don’t like. First off, they only have a handful or retailers. So when I went to convert my SWAGG gift certificate to a store gift card there were really no options that suited my needs.  I finally decided on American Eagle. I do not plan on using it anymore, until they get more retailers. I have also heard horror stories of people going into their store and trying to use their Gift Card. They have been denied and it is not working properly. What? If the SWAGG site is launched and running why are the GC’s not working? I plan on using mine online to avoid a hassle in a store. Hopefully these are just bugs that need to be worked out within the SWAGG company and they will soon expand to a lot more retailers. It’s a cool concept just a bit premature IMO.
