Amano, a Utah based chocolate company, and I have a lot in common. “Chocolate is our love and passion.” I absolutely LOVE chocolate. I could eat it all day, every day and never get sick of it. I believe there WILL be chocolate in Heaven! Anyone else out there like Amano and I? It is okay to admit it.
Amano is no ordinary chocolate company though. Here are some interesting facts I learned about them:
Amano is dedicated to creating some of the world’s most exquisite chocolate through traditional techniques. Amano means “by hand” and “they love” in Italian.They use only the world’s very best beans and ingredients.
They visit the plantations, buy from the growers, and when necessary work with them to improve their skill inproperly growing, fermenting and drying the cacao beans to meet our exacting standards.They work with small, carefully controlled batches and lots of love and attention.Amano sent me two mouth watering flavors to try. I received a bar of Ocumare and a bar of Jembrana. They were so yummy it was hard for me to share. I did however share with co-workers, my husband, my mother-, grandmother-, and sister-in-law. They all thought they were amazing. We followed the taste testing guidelines…start with a clean mouth, place chocolate on your tongue, and let melt. Oh my mouth is watering just thinking about how it tasted! It was smooth and creamy and VERY UNLIKE chocolate found at the grocery store. It was so much better!
