Ava is finally at that fun age where we have been able to start to play different games with her. It is so fun to watch her learn how to play and once she learns, she wants to play over and over again! We received HABA’s Memo My Toys memory game from Maukilo to review and I am so glad! It has been a wonderful addition to our family game time. It took several games for Ava to finally understand what we were doing and that on each turn she could only choose two pieces! Ha! She finally wrapper her little brain around it and now wants to play nonstop. I love how while we are playing, looking for pairs, we can talk about the different pictures we see, colors, shapes, animals! I know she is learning so much while we are talking and playing together. If she wants to play and I can’t play with her right away, I give her other tasks like counting the blocks, which is perfect because she can count to 20 and the game comes with 20 illustrated beech wood blocks, or just pairing up the blocks. Sometimes she will even sit and play pretend with the blocks if she is waiting for me. I hear her making up little stories with the blocks or they are introducing themselves to each other, so cute!
