Its What I Cant Believe Its Not Butter Review

I love to bake.  I enjoy cooking, but not like I enjoy baking.  I like the end product better.  I love me a good steak and potatoes, but nothing finishes a meal like something sweet.  I love cookies, pie, and CHOCOLATE!  Hench the reason I get up at 4:30 in the morning to go to the gym.  When I cook, I pretend to not notice all the sugar, butter and oil I add.  I know where the calories hide, but I don’t try and cut them out.  I don’t believe in substituting things like apple sauce or zucchini for the ingredients that make cookies delish.I Can’t Believe It’s Not Butter hooked me up with a Breakfast After Dark kit and some I Can’t Believe It’s Not Butter.  I usually get the tub I Can’t Believe It’s Not Better and use it on toast, pancakes, or to make grilled cheese.  I wanted to try the I Can’t Believe It’s Not Butter sticks.    I wanted to give them a try in some cookies.  I found the recipe on the I Can’t Believe It’s Not Butter website.

I added oatmeal and raisins and my cookies were to die for, if I do say so myself.  (If you add oatmeal and raisins, then they don’t count and cookies, they count as a bowl of oatmeal)  I have been converted from the cheepy brand of margarine for baking to the I Can’t Believe It’s Not Butter sticks.I haven’t ever been a big “butter” fan.  Not that I am against it at all, it is just more expensive than margarine   But the flavor of I Can’t Believe It’s Not Butter is so rich and delicious  I don’t know that I would switch to butter.  It tastes amazing on English muffins!  I love to coat them as soon as you pull them out of the toaster and let the I Can’t Believe It’s Not Butter melt into every nook and cranny.
Be sure to check out their website so you can get hooked up with all kinds of other recipes   They have everything from Berry Cornbread to Apple Pecan Stuffing.
