Honk Your Horns!! {Chuggington Giveaway!}

By now you all have to know how much we love Chuggington! 2011 has already been full of traintastic news and it just keeps rolling out! With success of season 1 and season 2 underway, Chuggington and Learning Curve are thrilled to announce the release of Chuggington’s Wooden Railway. It will be available in stores on March 1st!  This set includes Wooden Track Packs, Double Decker Roundhouse, & Over and Under Starter Set! Everything your little trainee needs to make Chuggington come to life!I was so surprised when we got a box from Chuggington containing the entire Chuggington Wooden Railway Set created by Learning Curve! I can’t even tell you how excited both kids were when it arrived! Any time we open a box and they see Chuggington it is party time!

I have to admit that wooden tracks are my absolute favorite, not sure if it’s because they take me back to my childhood or because they are easy enough for the kids to put together and take apart! Whatever the reason, Chuggington has made an absolutely beautiful and amazingly fun set for kiddos! First we opened up the Over and Under Starter Set! This is a 25 piece set and is the perfect start for any wooden train collection. This set also includes two wooden engines {Koko and Wilson, two of Ava’s favorites!}, a Vee figure, and a fun figure 8 track layout! The kids spent most of the afternoon playing with this one set. We eventually decided to open up the Double Decker Roundhouse, definitely a must-have! You can either stack the roundhouses to create one big one or separate them to create two side by side roundhouses plus a stand alone tunnel! The Roundhouse also comes with an elevating turntable that rises and spins and includes a bonus switch track piece! I seriously think they have thought of everything! Then to top everything off are the two track packs, one is elevated! These track packs allow your trainee to expand their railway for even more traintastic adventures and are a perfect addition for the Chuggington wooden railway! My kids have had more fun creating different track designs for their Koko and Wilson to chug down as well as adventurous stories about where they are going! I adore watching Ava’s imagination run wild while she is playing with her Chuggington train sets. Hollis loves playing with the trains as well, but I think he likes taking the track apart the best! Ha!
