My girls love products from Alex Toys as do I…they are well-made, fun, colorful and even stylish. So I was thrilled to review the Alex Toys Crafty Fashion Pets kit with my girls.We received two sets of Crafty Fashion Pets for review. One morning I tried to take a took a quick look at the outside of the box before leaving for school. The girls spotted it and were immediately captivated by the picture on the outside of the box. I’m lucky they like school so much, otherwise I’m sure they wouldn’t have wanted to leave. I promised they would get to play with it as soon as they got home and yep that’s exactly what they asked for when we got into the car when I picked them up. And we haven’t even opened the boxes yet!So when we got home, we opened the boxes and the girls were so excited. Each kit came with a cardboard cutout of three animals and each came with paper clothes to glue on, plus fun trims and stickers to dress up the animals even more. Also included are these adorable stacking crayons and a big generous glue stick (thanks for saving me a trip to the store!). There are picture instructions for each animal’s outfit, a great way to introduce following directions. I totally didn’t expect that and was a great bonus. This is also a great way to work on fine motor skills…the stickers and trims are pretty small so it really got their hands, eyes and brains going!
There are so many stickers and trims in each kit that they are still adding to the animals’ outfits. It has been several weeks! They are very proud of their creations and I know this would make the perfect gift for any kiddo 3 years and up.
