The 67-year-old Swan Drive-in Theater was built in 1955 by Jack Jones & H Tilley and is a popular attraction in North Georgia Mountains. The Swan Drive-in Theater is located near the Blue Ridge Community Theater, Mineral Springs Walking Trail, and only four drive-ins exist in Georgia and 310 in the United States. The Swan Drive-In Experience
The Swan Drive-In Theatre, named after the peaceful swans H Tilley spotted in England just before he set off for Normandy during World War II (about one and a half hours from Atlanta), offers a relaxing experience. It’s not the typical drive-in. First-run films are shown. The Swan provides a modern drive-in. There are restrooms available, and pets on leash are welcome.
Drive through the parking lot to find a suitable spot. You can watch the movie from your car while listening to your car radio (105.5FM) or chilling on a blanket under the stars or on your car hood with a portable stereo.
You can still bring in your own snacks and beverages to enjoy while watching the movie. You can also grab some classic drive-in treats at the concession stand, such as funnel cakes, popcorn, hotdogs, and more! You can’t return to your seat after picking up food. You’ll have plenty to eat if you plan on staying for the double feature!
