I enjoy everything about it; the beautiful illustrations, cute story, & that sweet hungry caterpillar that reminds me a lot of myself sometimes! Such a sweet tale of transformation.

When I taught Kindergarten I always loved reading my students The Very Hungry Caterpillar. Other than just being an absolutely wonderful story, you can use this one book to help teach so many different things! Days of the week, sequencing, metamorphosis, insects, healthy eating, the list just goes on and on! Of course, the kids always love this story and reading it multiple times throughout the year was a must! Surprisingly I had never shared it with my own children. It was so fun to see my children enjoying The Very Hungry Caterpillar just as much as I did the first time I heard it! Ava is obsessed with caterpillars, so this book was especially fun for her. Hollis loved looking at colorful pictures throughout the story as we read. So happy to have this book to share with my children, it is always a crowd pleaser!
