Having a new baby is a lot of work but it sure is a lot of fun! I love cuddling and loving my baby, but there are some times when I would like to accomplish some things too. I would love to get ready at some point during the day. I would like to do laundry. I would like to clean the house up. All these things I would like to do for me but also so my husband doesn’t hink that things have gone to pot now that I am a stay at home mom.
Bright Starts Safari Bouncer
Thank goodness for the Bright Starts Sunnyside Safari Bouncer!!! Bright Starts was founded by a grandmother who came up with an idea to keep kids from slipping in the bathtub. Since Bright Starts has created tons of original and inventive products to help make babyhood more fun for everyone. Bright Starts has even won awards for their products!! The Bright Starts Sunnyside Safari Bouncer has helped make my days more productive. My little guy LOVES to be held. There have been days that he just wants to be held all day. If I try to put him down he wakes right up and wants to be held again. With the Sunnyside Safari Bouncer I can actually put Beckham down and get some things down. Beckham loves his bouncer and so do I. He seems comfy in it. I like that when he is asleep if he wiggles at all the bouncer moves, tricking him into thinking I am holding him and calming him back to sleep. It is like magic! The bouncer is super cute! It has fun, friendly jungle friends on it. The colors are nice and bright. Great for either gender.
In the picture if you look by my baby’s feet you will see a harness. I haven’t used this on Beckham yet for a few reasons. First, Beckham doesn’t wiggle around enough to need to be fastened in. Second, the seat is nice and deep so he doesn’t slide out. Lastly, the harness is just big enough and he is just small enough that it is really loose on him. It would only keep him from wiggling off the end…which he can’t do yet. The harness will come handy in the future but we don’t need it now. If you look just past his feet you will see a yellow box. This is really cool. It vibrates the bouncer. This is so calming for baby!! On the top there is a toy bar which is removable making putting baby in and taking them out easy. There is a little elephant and giraffe that hang down. Beckham is too little to play with these but he loves to look at them. The bouncer was super simple to put together. I did it all by myself…woot! woot! Moms will also appreciate this, the seat liner is washable! Yeah!! One more thing I like about the Sunnyside Bouncer (I love it if you can’t tell ) it is lightweight and portable. This makes it easy to tote around the house so I can keep my eye on him. It also makes it a great thing to take to Grandma’s house when she watches her favorite sweetie.
