Creative Building. {Arc-A-Teks Giveaway}

When I was young I really loved building toys. They allowed me to be creative or follow some type of instructions to create a specific thing, a building or a character. Now that I am a mama, I love getting the kids toys that make them think, especially building type toys! Arc-A-Teks are super fun building sets that will give your child tons of creative building time and new friends to play with!!It’s never too early to discover what you’d like to do when you grow up. A new series of Superstructs, plastic rod-and-connector-style construction toys, called Arc-A-Teks from WABA Fun will have kids as young as 3-years-old creating, building and imagining. Each of the three Arc-A-Teks sets comes with 40-42 pieces, enough to build two Arc-A-Tek characters simultaneously. Children can also build third character from each set, and instructions can be found online using a special code included in each Arc-A-Teks set. It’s a thoroughly non-violent, character-building construction set made with bigger parts for littler hands.

Arc-A-Teks are incredibly affordable at just $9.99, making it a great birthday or holiday gift.  see how they interconnect and build on each other by accessing online codes to create new characters.Arc-A-TEKS are available in three styles, Earth, Sky or Sea.

Who are the Ark-a-TEKS??

Prior to their near-extinction, the Arcatopians built a ship and sent Zig-Zag, their most talented master builder to the planet Earth. They selected Earth as Zig-Zag’s destination because The Milky Way Galaxy and Earth’s solar system were their proudest accomplishments. And, unbenownst to humanity, Earth had been made in Arcatopia’s image.
In addition to preventing the extinction of the Arcatopian species and preserving its culture, Zig-Zag’s mission on Earth was to help preserve the crafts and artistry of master-building as well as to help humanity to build its character. His ultimate goal was to continue the Arcatopian species until Earth’s technology was advanced enough to rebuild Arcatopia.Ava is having a blast with her SEA Arc-A-Teks set! We opened them up the other night and had so much fun creating a few of the cute little Arc-A-Teks characters! The tub came complete with 40 building pieces {enough to create two characters at the same time!}, building characters booklet with illustrated step by step instructions on how to create each sea character, and Arc-A-Teks character cards with information on each character including an online code to unlock a secret Arc-A-Tek character! Ava did get a little frustrated at first, trying to figure out how to connect the pieces, but once she figured it out, she couldn’t stop connecting and building! She even created a few of her own little characters, seen in the first photo of her, she was totally showing off her little character, which she lovingly named “Henry”! I love that each style of Arc-A-Teks comes in it’s own little storage tub that you can always keep your Arc-A-Teks in! We do have to be a bit careful when playing that we keep them up high where little Hollis can’t get a hold of some of the smaller parts. Ava is always really good about keeping her little toys away from him though, and when she is finished, she makes sure to put all the pieces back in their storage tub; such a great big sister! Ava has had so much fun with these that I am planning on giving a few as gifts this holiday season.
