What is the first thing you notice on a girl? Her eyes? Her smile? Her hair? For me, it is hair. Hair can make or break it for you. If you have a gorgeous outfit on but your hair is looking crazy, no bueno. If you have one a gorgeous outfit and your hair is looking it’s finest, BINGO!
Every morning I get to do two of my favorite things: hair and makeup. I like getting dolled up. I like trying new mixes of eye shadows and new hairstyles. Some times I turn out no bueno and some times I turn out BINGO!I like the BINGO days the best. It makes me feel better and it seems to make my day go smoother.

NuMe sent me a 25mm Curling Wand. A curling wand is like a curling iron without the clip. Not having a clip keeps your hair from breaking, being tugged, and keeps your curls from having creases. This tourmaline curling wand gave me long lasting, bouncy, frizz free curls. It was like I had a personal hair dresser giving me a celebrity look. I really liked the fatness of the wand. It gave me big luscious curls rather than tight spirals.

There is something about fixing my hair that makes me feel extra glamorous. I’m not sure if it’s because it doesn’t happen very often anymore, but I know that I love the way I feel when I take a little extra time and put myself together. I feel confident, beautiful, and ready for anything. My hair is stick straight and I usually use a flat iron on it to get rid of a little frizz and smooth it out, but every once in a while I like a little wave, the beachy, hollywood star kind! Ever since I remember (high school years) I have always had straight hair, but with a slight wave to it. I was always so envious of girls who could wash their hair and let it air dry and it would end up super straight. I even had a roommate who could put her hair up in a pony tail and hours later take it down and it was still super straight. I was so jealous. I had to spend a lot of time blow drying my hair every time that I washed it, if I wanted it straight. I was so excited when given the chance to try the Nume Couture Flat Iron. I am always looking for the perfect way to straighten my hair. I love that it is 1 1/3 inch plates so it really covers my hair when I pull it across it, I can control the temperature from 140 degrees to 410 degrees. I like it at roughly 300 degrees, not too hot but hot enough to smooth out my frizz. Just enough to get my hair looking super straight every time. I also found that my hair stayed straight not only the rest of the day but into the next day. Plus, it only takes 10 seconds to heat up. Love that! I am learning to curl and flip my hair with it too! It’ amazing what a few staples can do to liven things up. A new pair of skinnies, a few versatile cardies ( I LOVE fall just for cardi season!!), and then of course something to go underneath those cardies. That is where this wonderful sleeveless turtle neck top from IZ Byer comes in. They were very generous and sent me one to try out! It is super sophisiticated, but can be worn either dressed up with a skirt/trousers, or dressed down with a great pair of jeans.
received the Barcelona Turquoise Sand with dark brown suede. It is super cute! The pendant is light teal with a great CTR COUTURE logo in it. It held onto a ring by a crown. This reminds me that I am a princess of the King. The suede is dark brown and oh so soft. I wore this around my niece and after seeing this she immediately wanted me to take it off so she could wear it. I love this necklace because it is stylish but reminds me to make good decisions. Yes, even I a 27 year old, need that reminder every now and then.
