Well, we are in the new year and I have been reading and chatting a lot with friends about resolutions and goals for the new year. It seems each year I am struggling to lose a few pounds and this year is no different. In an attempt to not go along with the crowd, instead of making losing weight a New Year’s resolution, one of my resolutions is to be healthier and work exercise in daily. Hopefully all those other benefits, like losing weight, will just be a result of a few positive changes! My mom is a huge college football fan, especially when it comes to the University of Texas! My brother went to school in Austin and we made several trips down during football season to catch games and other festivities! He has received several compliments on his new shirt and he is oh-so proud!
Wearing glasses can be so much fun! Glasses can be just as much of an accessory as jewelry and scarves! Glasses can also be an expensive accessory.
I have been wearing the same glasses for over 5 years now. My prescription hasn’t changed and I wear contacts a lot, so they have held up really well. Lately, I have been so bored with them though, really feeling the need to get a little update! Seriously, a new pair of glasses is the equivalent of a makeover in my world! Ha! It’ amazing what a few staples can do to liven things up. A new pair of skinnies, a few versatile cardies ( I LOVE fall just for cardi season!!), and then of course something to go underneath those cardies. That is where this wonderful sleeveless turtle neck top from IZ Byer comes in. They were very generous and sent me one to try out! It is super sophisiticated, but can be worn either dressed up with a skirt/trousers, or dressed down with a great pair of jeans.
received the Barcelona Turquoise Sand with dark brown suede. It is super cute! The pendant is light teal with a great CTR COUTURE logo in it. It held onto a ring by a crown. This reminds me that I am a princess of the King. The suede is dark brown and oh so soft. I wore this around my niece and after seeing this she immediately wanted me to take it off so she could wear it. I love this necklace because it is stylish but reminds me to make good decisions. Yes, even I a 27 year old, need that reminder every now and then.
