Cozy Camera {Camera Coats Review & Giveaway}

I love my camera. It really is like a part of the family!  It goes along with us on outings and to gatherings with family and friends. There are definitely times when we are out and I don’t need another bag along on the trip and the camera bag is a nuisance. So then I am stuck between do I take the camera or leave it and the bag behind and loose out on capturing memories. I can’t even begin to tell you how excited I was when I saw Camera Coats! It is so pretty and the pattern instantly caught my eye. I decided that the protection from bumps as well as a little wetness caused by nature or my little ones was most definitely necessary! I have used this wonderful little Camera Coat on several outings and it has proven itself to be a wonderful addition to my camera accessory collection. Any time we are headed someplace where I want to take my camera to capture memories but don’t need another bag along with the kids and all the bags and gear that I need for them I pull out my Camera Coat and we hit the road! It is 100% Designer Cotton Laminate {which means waterproof!}, the interior is 100% soft white cotton and and there is a nice padding between the layers. There is also a great little pocket on the outside of the Camera Coat that offers a place to store a memory card, lens cap, or even a phone depending on the size! The Camera Coat fits perfectly on my Canon SLR with the original camera strap! Real Moms DIY: Making Cake Pops & Lovin’ My Tamron Lens!

Yes, I got ambitious and decided to go ALL OUT for my little one’s birthday.  You know they only turn 1 and 3 once! Hehe!  So I enlisted the help of my sisters and we went to work in the kitchen.

My yummy cake pops! Impressed???

They were easy to make and made such a fun colorful statement on the counter with our party theme!  Basically you use a box cake mix, bake, let cool, crumble and add in a can of frosting, then roll and chill in the fridge. Then the fun part-decorating.  Dip in chocolate and sprinkle with fun candies and coatings!  You must try them at your next party!

Another thing that I have been having fun with is my Tamron Lens.  I have loved having the opportunity to shoot with it.  I was able to take some fun pictures of the party and I have really loved getting to know the lens.  My hubby loves it too!  Especially when we are outdoors as he can zoom in on nature and our kids.  We get such great shots with every take.  I highly recommend you check out Tamron if you are in the market for a new lens. Big, Bigger, Biggest! {Belly Banter Review}

Everyone knows that along with pregnancy comes a baby bump.  Some are bigger than others but there is no way getting around the fact that you are going to get a bump.  Even my skinny, frequent gym goers still pop right out there.  (ha! ha!) ;-)

One thing I could hardly wait for when I was pregnant was taking the baby bump pictures.  Before I was pregnant I vowed to take a weekly picture.  Then, ever since finding out I was going to be a mommy I didn’t take one picture.  Why?  1-A first time mommy sometimes doesn’t show until later in the pregnancy. 2-I just felt like I looked fat, not pregnant.  As weird as that may sound any mother knows the feeling.  3-I never felt like I looked cute enough to want to take a picture.

Beautifully Framed. {JasperLilly Designs Review and Giveaway}

Our house is full of family photos. They are on the walls in frames, hung on the refrigerator with cute magnets, sitting on bedside tables, and carefully placed in books; they are everywhere. There is nothing I love more than finding a beautiful way to share our story and be reminded of our journey as a family. frame2 I received a gorgeous surprise frame from JasperLilly Designs and I couldn’t have been happier! As soon as I saw it, I knew the exact photo I wanted to display and just the right spot to hang it in our home. It is the funky Lilac design and is painted in a very girly shade of Agate {light purple}. The frame is slightly distressed, which gives it a very vintagey look that I love and one that definitely suits our home. The JasperLilly Designs frame is sturdy and very well made; I can tell they didn’t cut any corners when creating this beauty! It is so elegant and pretty; perfect for a photo of my girl! I can just imagine an entire wall covered in JasperLilly Designs Frames. All different designs and different colors. That would be such an amazing statement wall; showcasing our most precious photos of favorite memories and special places we’ve been as a family. I am so thrilled with my JasperLilly Designs frame and am positive I will be adding to our collection! JasperLilly Designs frames are available through photographer vendors.
