Safe Sleepwear for Infants and Baby! {HALO Comfortluxe Giveaway}

As a mom, I am always concerned about my babies safety. That means when she goes to sleep at night, I still worry. Just because she is sleeping doesn’t me she is safe. I have always worried about putting blankets on my baby at a young age. She is only seven months old and too many times she wraps the blankets around her face and panics, and that is just when she is laying on the floor and I am supervising her. We do not put blankets in her crib with her, to keep her safe. This leads to me worrying about her getting cold during the night.

I was recently given the opportunity to review HALO’s brand new line of sleepwear- HALO Comfortluxe. Actually my little girl did all of the reviewing. I was immediately impressed with the fabric when I opened the package. It was light weight and very soft, yet able to keep my baby warm.  I am happy to report that she wears it all the time and it helps mommy sleep easy too! I know she is staying warm and safe all in one.

Comfortluxe fabric breathes better than cotton and helps promote healthier skin.  It works by regulating body temperature and wicking moisture away from the skin where it evaporates quickly (twice as fast as cotton).  Little ones stay cooler when it’s warm and warmer when it’s cool.

Comfortluxe has also been award the Seal of Acceptance by the National Eczema Association.  Wearing Comfortluxe can help soothe eczema and sensitive skin by reducing the itch/scratch cycle that can lead to flare-ups, irritatio

n and discomfort.

Aro-mom-therapy {Snoedel Giveaway} CLOSED

Snoedel means “snuggle” in Dutch.  The Snoedel is made for just that…snuggling. 

Snoedel is the original sleeping and bonding aid for babies completely handcrafted in the United States by moms, grandmothers, and female college students under “newborn-safe” conditions (environments free of tobacco and perfumes.)

The sense of smell is one of the first things that bonds a baby to its parents.  Each Snoedel is designed specifically to absorb and maintain a parent’s scent.  Once placed near an infant the scent is slowly released to comfort the baby.  This will help improve sleep and also help calm and soothe a crying and fussy baby.  One parent should sleep with the Snoedel for a couple of nights prior to giving it to a baby.

This is perfect if a premature birth is anticipated.  Mom can “prep” the Snoedel prior to the birth.  Then the new little cutie is taken to be placed in the incubator, put the Snoedel in with the baby. Or even baby’s that need to go into surgery shortly after being born.

This is also very wonderful in the adoption process.  Your baby can start bonding with you while you are waiting for it’s arrival.  Imagine how helpful it can be in international adoptions when waiting periods are longer.  PERFECT!

Snoedel gave me the opportunity to review the jungle baby print Snoedel.  It is super soft!  The 18″x18″ size is just right for a newborn.  I can hardly wait to have a little cutie of my own and give it to them.

Snoedel’s are also available in a toddler size–twice the size…32″x30″!  There are so many fabrics to choose from.  You can even embroider it for added personalization.

Cutie Patootie Blanket {Abel Mabel Giveaway} CLOSED

I love seeing little cuties accessorized with adorable things.  No longer should a baby have those cheesy mass produced accessories that aren’t really all that cute.  Help make your child’s extras look as cute as their little faces!

Red Birdie Blanket with Minky for Baby

Abel Mabel sent me the adorable Red Birdie Blanket.  The top material is a soft black and white cotton fabric.  Underneath is a super soft black polka dotted milky fabric.  The dots are slightly raised, giving it a soft texture.  The top fabric has a red felt bird stitched on, completed with a wing from black and white polka dot cotton fabric.  It measures 20”x24”. This is SUCH a cute blanket.

Simply Adorable {BuddyTops Review}

Buddy tops sent my daughter the Dalmatian BuddyTop. One of her favorite movies is 101 Dalmatians, so it was surely going to be a fun Christmas surprise for her! So right! Her face just lit up when she opened it! {and of course requests for 101 Dalmatians soon followed! Ha!} She wore it all day long and even to a few of our family get togethers over the Christmas holiday! Everyone thought is was so cute and very much “Ava-esque!” The BuddyTop is super soft and really warm, so it’s perfect for these cold winter months! Keep in mind when you are ordering that the sizes are a bit off…my two year old wore a size large…there is a bit of growing room, but I’m glad that is the size we went with!
