Christina- D-e-l-i-c-i-o-u-s……that’s how I will describe the assortment of brownies Gourmet Gift Baskets offers. For 3 days straight last week I worked on flowers for a wedding ……as I hit evening number two, nearly exhausted, I decided to open the package I received from Gourmet Gift Baskets, hoping a snack awaited me that would keep me going. The Cheesecake Brownie seemed to be calling my name, so I gave it a try……..moist, gooey, chocolate and cream cheese delight!! I wish every brownie was a Gourmet Gift Baskets Cheesecake Brownie!! An assistant as well as family helped me out on Saturday morning before delivery, so I shared the other varieties with them. Each person raved about how yummy their brownie was, from Peanut Butter to White Chocolate Macadamia Nut, there wasn’t a crumb left anywhere. This brownie basket would be the perfect gift to send to someone who needs a little TLC (just not a diabetic or someone who’s watching their weight )!!
Amanda- I was super excited to get a sweet assortment of Gourmet Brownies from GourmetGiftBaskets.com! As I’m sure you have all figured out by now, I have quite the sweet tooth {as does most of my family!}. To say we enjoyed the delicious brownie sampling we received would be a total understatement! These brownies were AMAZING! My favorite was the Belgian Chocolate Chunk Brownie and I know my husband savored every bite of his Peanut Butter Brownie! These brownies are the perfect combo of soft, chewy, chocolatey goodness! They arrived fresh; like they had just been pulled out of the oven! One thing I really loved about the brownies is that they came individually packaged. I am the worst about baking a tray of brownies and nibbling on it throughout the day. Before I know it I’ve consumed a weeks worth of calories in a few hours and all that is left is crumbs. These brownies are two servings per package. I didn’t feel one ounce of guilt after eating my brownie. I knew it was an indulgence, but one I could allow in my daily calories and enjoy. Crissa- I am a HUGE fan of desserts! I think I could live off of desserts alone. When I received this package I could hardly wait to dig in. I was headed to work so I grabbed the peanut butter brownie and added it to my dinner. Ooo la la! Talk about rich and tasty! I could have shared it with someone because it was so rich….like I would do that though! I ate half that night and the next day after lunch I finished it off. Sooo yummy! My brother saw the brownies sitting on the counter and asked which one I could part with because he would like to try one too. That was a tough decision. I let him have the cheesecake flavor. He ranted and raved about how delicious it was. After that I was not about to share anymore with anyone for fear I would miss out I have successfully eaten all the brownies minus one by myself. They were ALL so good! After much deliberation my favorite was the butterscotch blonde. Thanks GourmetGiftBaskets.com for letting me try these out! I will be ordering these in the future to give to my dessert loving friends and family.
Audrey- My, oh my! Did someone say brownies?! I think that is one of my favorite words in the dictionary! I LOVE brownies! I don’t know that I’ve ever met a brownie I didn’t like! When my box arrived, I was SOO excited! I opened it right up and found six kinds of brownies inside! With so many to choose from, I didn’t know where to start, so I chose the Peanut Butter… it kind of ended up being lunch that day! It was chocolate with little peanut butter chips on top! SO good! I really liked that the peanut butter wasn’t too overpowering (as it can sometimes be!) so the brownie taste could still shine through. Next up was the Cheesecake for dessert that night with the hubbs! It was beautiful! White decadent cheesecake layer on top drizzled with fudge icing! We split it, which was a good thing too because this one is RICH!! Neither of us could finish our halves! This is for SERIOUS sweet lovers! (My Dad would have LOVED this one!!) The next day I broke into the Butterscotch Blonde. I LOVE butterscotch and this blonde didn’t disappoint! It has butterscotch chips weaved throughout and really hit the sweet spot I was craving! This one is SUPER sweet, so be sure to have a big glass of milk on hand! My friend came over the next day and we split the Belgian Chocolate Chunk and the White Chocolate Macadamia nut! Both were soo good! The Belgian Chocolate Chunk had big chunks of chocolate on top and it was so goey and fudgy! This one was my favorite! The White Chocolate Macadamia Nut made me think of Hawaii! It had large chunks of macadamia nuts that paired so well with the the white chocolate chips! The Fudge Walnut I gave to my friend because I am allergic to walnuts, but I loved the look of the big golden walnuts studded on top and she said she really loved the fudgy texture and how many nuts there were! What a great idea for someone you want to say and special “Thank You” to, or maybe just someone who needs something special to brighten their day. I mean after all, who wouldn’t smile at a box of delicious, gourmet brownies?…I know I sure did!!
Erin- When you get home after the mail comes, you never know what you are going to find, what it looked like when it arrived, or if there will be anything left. Surprisingly when I received my box-o-brownies (possibly sent from heaven) I was SHOCKED that only one had been consumed…by whom?? My hubby! The one who knows better. Apparently it called his name, so it really isn’t his fault. Um hum. I was so excited to eat the 5 remaining browning, but I insisted on having dinner before tearing into them. We all ate as fast was we could so the sampling could begin. We cut them all into bite sized pieces so we could all give them each a try. If you want a really true delish brownie…go with the Fudge Walnut Brownie. Want something different and not so chocolaty? The Cheesecake one is to die for! My kids LOVED the Butterscotch Blondie…its more cookie bar (in my opinion). And Josh, he would be more then happy if he had a case of the Peanut Butter Brownie…I can’t give you my opinion on that one, since it was gone about 2 seconds after he opened the box. I never even saw it! The 5 that I did see were HEAVENLY!!

One Sauce… So Many Ways {Veri Peri sauce review & giveaway}
Raise your hand if you’re a sauce girl! I DEFINITELY am!! I LOVE sauces of all kinds! When I marinate meat, I usually like to add more sauce to my own once I eat it. I was super excited to get cooking when my bottles arrived! I Love how versatile this sauce is. It can be used for so many things. The ways I came up with included: Just an excellent marinade for baked chicken. I used the Lemon & Herb by itself because I really wanted the flavors to stand out. It was SOO good! No heat, but with a great fresh lemon taste and with plenty of interest from the herbs! Probably my fav!
I used the Garlic to toss with some potatoes that were then roasted. I also tossed some olive oil with it to mellow the heat… Yes, to me it was a bit spicy. There is a spice index on the bottle that listed it as a 3/10.( The Lemon & Herb had a 1.) Not too spicy, but with a good kick and plenty of garlic-y goodness! (I LOVE garlic!) The Mild was next, and I must say I haven’t been brave enough to actually cook with it yet. I tried some before cooking with it, as I do with all sauces I use, and I have to say it really woke my tongue up! Like I said before, I do have tender taste buds, so I wasn’t too surprised, especially considering it has a 5/10 index. Maybe I will get brave and crock pot some chicken for tacos, or it would also go great with a (splash) added to a black bean and corn dish. For all you spice lovers out there, I think this would be a great one to try first. It will definitely let you know it’s got some heat! I can only imagine the other two!!
Something I really like about these sauces is how creamy they are. They are also thick enough that they could stand up to being poured directly on as a condiment. The sky is the limit to what you can do with these sauces. I also love that they are super healthy, so they are a perfect addition to your pantry if you are health conscious and are always looking for a new way to do (chicken!) I personally think they give baked, grilled.. you name it meats that something special to turn ordinary into extraordinary! These sauces are definitely REAL Mom Recommended! Thanks Veri Peri!

A Time Saving Chicken Dish! {Hellmann’s Chicken Change-Up}
I love to cook, the only problem is that I have three little kids and a very busy schedule between watching them and working. So many times I just don’t have time to cook. I love it when I find a recipe that makes dinner time easier.
Here’s a dish I tried out last night, boy did we love it! First off it’s simple & easy, and secondly it’s delish! You MUST try it out. {Please don’t mind my little guy talking during my filming. LOL, you know how kids are!?!}
Preparation:

BBQ-CHEDDAR-CRUSTED CHICKEN
A simple and juicy solution for dinner
4 servings
Prep Time: 10 minutes Cook Time: 20 minutes

INGREDIENTS
- 1/2 cup Hellmann’s® or Best Foods® Real Mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese (about 1 oz.)
- 2 Tbsp. barbecue sauce
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breast halves (about 1-1/4 lbs.)
- 4 tsp. Italian seasoned dry bread crumbs
INSTRUCTIONS
- Preheat oven to 425°.
- Combine Hellmann’s® or Best Foods® Real Mayonnaise, cheese and barbecue sauce in medium bowl. Arrange chicken on baking sheet. Evenly top with mayonnaise mixture, then sprinkle with bread crumbs.
- Bake 20 minutes or until chicken is thoroughly cooked.

The new pie parfait comes in three varieties: apple, cherry and triple berry. It is vanilla yogurt with pie filling you mix in and there is even a crumbly pie topping to go in as well! Can I say GENIUS!! It is the perfect after dinner dessert! And the great thing they are all around 120 calories, including the topping! It was a very hard call, but I think apple may be my favorite by a hair! These babies are the perfect size though! I am trying to stick to my healthy New Year’s resolution and these things are a great addition! The other variety is a super healthy Greek parfait with toasted almonds!! I love the other varieties with granola, check them all out here, but the toasted almonds just plain knock it out of the park! (I am sitting here eating one as I type!!)
The new varieites come in raspberry & acai and also pomegranite & blueberry. I found my newest favorite post workout snack today!!
