Gettin’ Cheeky {Candi Cheeks review & giveaway}

 

One of the extra perks about having a baby is getting to play dress up! Now, I have a boy, so my options are a little limited.  I haven’t experienced all the sparkles, flower bows, tutus, leggings, and dresses yet, but I still have fun dressing my little guy. Let Them Get Wet…and Look Cute Doing It! {Kidsswimwear.com Review and Giveaway}

“That one!” “Oh! Look at that one!” “That is SO cute!” is all I heard out of Hailee as we looked at all of the darling swimming suits on kidsswimear.com. 

She was given the opportunity to pick and tryout one of their darling swimming suits.  The problem was that she had a hard time picking just one!  Since she is 10…and she thinks she is so grown up, she didn’t want something too little girl, but wanted something fun and cute.  She opted to the FRANKIE & DAISY Graphic Design Charcoal and Pink Halter Swimsuit Corky and Company.  This suit is SO cute!!  The number one thing I was happy to see was that the entire thing is lined.  She is getting to the age that she needs the lining, but a lot of little girls suits are not fully lines.  The fabric is super good quality, no cheap material here.  I was also quite impressed with the attention to detail.  The entire top is ruffled fabric and it has three fabric roses across the middle.  It fit perfectly and has a tie back halter so if she grows an inch or two over the summer.  I was relieved to see that it wasn’t too revealing.  The legs were just right, the top was just right…not too much skin anywhere.  Hailee was thrilled with her pick, and my other two girls were jealous!

This isn’t the only to-die-for cute suit…every one of them is just as cute!  There is a ruffle two tank that looks like a one piece, but has the convenience of a bikini.  Still covering that tummy, these are great for those who desire a little more coverage.  The bikinis are super cute!  I love a toddlers tummy poking out of these things!  This zebra one is my favorite!  If you have a little modest one who doesn’t want their tummy showing at all, then a one piece is the way to go.  besides the one one that Hailee picked, there are many

more darling styles.  And if you have one that burns a little too easy or just just want a little more coverage, then pick one of their darling rash guard sets.

All of the suits are bright and fun!  I absolutely love all of the extra details on everyone of these suits.  They all have multiple, coordinating fabrics and accented by ruffles and/or flowers.

Get a Fresh, New Perspective {Fresh Produce clothing review}

 

There are some things in a girls wardrobe that can be used for so many occasions. Dressy, like for church or a program or such. Dressed down for a casual lunch with friends or shopping. Lazy summer days that offer “natural air conditioning.” :-) You guessed it… skirts! I have been wanting to update my skirt wardrobe for a while, and so when I was generously given the chance to try something from  Fresh Produce, I was so excited!!! I had a hard time deciding on what to get. I looked at so many things, like these fun skirts. I also really liked these women’s skorts. There was so much to choose from when I saw these vacation clothes, because come on… who can’t use more great clothes for going away?? :-) Finally I decided I really wanted to go with this skirt!

I love love love this skirt!! I got it in a vanilla color, so it will easily take me from spring to summer to back to fall! I especially love that it is raised in the front, which is right on trend with skirt hems this season… So fun! It also has some really great detailing with the seams that finish off the look, whether you are dressing it up with heels, or going casual with sandals. I have so many ideas, I can hardly wait for the weather to get warm. It has been so nasty cold here lately, I’ve only had one chance to wear it. I opted to go more bundled up with boots and a sweater, but I still loved how it looked! (This picture was taken while the Toddler was having a MAJOR meltdown, so please excuse the lack of detail… I was lucky to even get the Hubbs to take this at all! :-) )

 

I really love how it looked with the boot… kind of gave it a Western feel. It is super soft and so comfy too. Definitely something I could kick around in all afternoon. This skirt has endless possibilities. If you need something dressy for a nicer event, this would work great too!

Cozy Camera {Camera Coats Review & Giveaway}

I love my camera. It really is like a part of the family!  It goes along with us on outings and to gatherings with family and friends. There are definitely times when we are out and I don’t need another bag along on the trip and the camera bag is a nuisance. So then I am stuck between do I take the camera or leave it and the bag behind and loose out on capturing memories. I can’t even begin to tell you how excited I was when I saw Camera Coats!
