I am not sure how it happens, but over the years we seem to collect cleaning products of every sort. I took a peek under my kitchen sink and was a little shocked at what I came up with. There were various scents of half empty dish washing soap, a few different brands of disinfecting wipes (including an empty container and a dried out one, too), I even found a container of Comet…I don’t remember ever even buying Comet. Since it is under my sink, I rarely see it. I grab what I need and quickly shut the cupboard so I don’t have to face what lurks underneath my kitchen sink. Have you ever read the label on any of your cleaning products? I’ll give you a dollar if you call spell all of the ingredients, let alone say them 
Let’s just say, not only was I SHOCKED to see the mixture of stuff that I was subjecting my kids to everyday…but also scared to death! I believe in having my kids help out around the house and doing chores. Therefore, my kids USE these products a couple of times a week. I had to rethink that…until I saw that Shaklee products have absolutely no harmful products in them. Chores are back on kids!!
I am also thrilled with the idea of using a concentrate to mix up a bottle of cleaner at a time! I was given three different spray bottles that I was able to mix up three different strengths of cleaners. First is the window/glass cleaner. I will admit that I have been sold on the “brand” name products of glass cleaner. I have used the “off-brand” and everything I had cleaned ended up streaky and needing to be re-cleaned. The Shaklee concentrate made into glass cleaner is amazing! We cleaned windows, glass, and mirrors and there wasn’t a streak to be found. We use a lot of hair spray at our house and it even got that off the mirror! The next bottle is an all-purpose cleaner. We cleaned counter tops, mopped the floor, and my favorite use was a spot cleaner when we cleaned carpets. It worked incredibly well without a soapy residue or build-up. Better than the bottles that you pay $6-$8 for…plus you can refill it when it is gone! The third bottle, a degreaser. This is the one that has the most concentrate in it so it has the most cleaning power. I haven’t used this one as much as the o
thers…which I am hoping is a good sign that my house isn’t “greasy” :) I did clean the microwave and the stove top with it, only to be continually impressed.
On laundry day, I had Josh give the laundry products a try. That’s right…Josh. Yup, my hubby does all of the laundry! Amazing, right?! So according to him, the laundry soap was great. He was impressed that he didn’t have to use very much for the size of the load he was doing. He also used the laundry booster…again, impressed. (he is a man of few words when I ask for his opinion on the laundry detergent.) He did notice less static in the clothes as he pulled them out of the dryer, thanks to the dryer sheets. The only thing he mentioned was that all of the products are scent-less. That can be a plus or a minus. I like pulling out my sheets and having them smell clean and fresh, but I understand him not wanting to pull out his police uniform and smelling like vanilla cherry blossoms.
The liquid dish soap is AMAZING! Talk about grease be gone! If your dirty dishes can go in the dishwasher, then the dish washing detergent is the way to go! It rinsed really clean…even with our rock hard water! Either way, the dish washing soaps make the job tons easier!
My kids favorite of all of the products was the cleaning wipes. They are perfect for bathroom or kitchen touch ups. My favorite part
is that I can hand the container to my kids and not worry about them cleaning. I am able to let them have the responsibility to help clean, but not worry if they are going to get totally sick doing it….they may get sick OF doing it, but not because of the products they are using.

Cleaning. Not my favorite chore, but one that must be done. We have wood floors throughout most of our home and they can be a challenge to clean.
