New Stroller, Used Stroller, & Worn Out Stroller! {Balboa Baby Stroller Liner Review & Giveaway}

Do you have a stroller that has lived through the first of your children, only to have the third, well have to use a dirty old stroller? That is the situation with us. The first child got the brand spankin’ new stroller, the second got the gently used stroller, and the third got the “worn out” old stroller.

We recently had the opportunity to review the new Balboa Baby stroller liner. I choose the “swirl” pattern because it was pretty first off and would match our umbrella stroller perfectly. It features a universal fit so it will fit any stroller.

When it arrived I was very excited to give the old stroller it’s facelift. It was super easy to put on. You simply thread the stroller straps through and it makes an instant facelift on the old stroller. Now the third baby gets something nice and new….his stroller liner!

I love that I can take it off when needed and wash it in the washing machine and return without worry of the stroller’s original seat getting dirty. Thanks Balboa Baby for the great stroller liner. We L-O-V-E it!

Mom can Relax & Baby can Thrive! {Evenflo Bebek Bottle Review}

We recently had the opportunity to try out these bottles first hand. With a new baby in the home, it couldn’t have come at a better time. We were able to use the 2 oz bottle for the first few weeks with our little guy since all he ate at each feeding was 2 oz. It was super tiny and the nipple seemed to work perfectly for him. Then we had to move up to the 5 oz bottle because he was then eating 3 oz. I was worried that he wouldn’t care for the larger nipple on this bottle. He switched over seamlessly. I was very impressed. We are still using them today and we love them. No leaking from the ring, and they wash up nicely as I can put them in the top rack of our dishwasher.

Keepin’ your Buggy Safe! {buggyguard Review and Giveaway}

I have heard horror stories of mom’s at the amusement park or aquarium. Where they leave there stroller for a little while to go on a ride or see an event. Only to come back to find their stroller missing? A stroller is such a big investment when you are paying hundreds of dollars and if mine ever went missing I would be very upset.

That’s where buggyguard has you protected. They offer stroller security for all moms with strollers. I am so happy to own the “monkey” buggyguard. I keep it in my diaper bag so it’s always with us when we are shopping or out and about as I have a few strollers that I like to use. It can also stay attached to my stroller for easy access every time I need it.

It’s simple to use, just like a bike lock (which we programmed with our code) and gives my hubby and I peace of mind knowing our stroller won’t “walk off” with someone other than us. Such a great thing when you invest so much in a stroller.

They also have a great product called the B Hook. Such a simple device that can save your precious diaper bag or belongings. While it won’t stop someone from taking what’s inside my bags, (I take out my valuables when I leave the bag) it will stop someone from taking my diaper bag.

Simple, Safe, Natural {mimijumi Review}

I am telling you, I can hardly wait for my little bundle of joy to make it’s appearance. I can hardly wait to see it’s little face and kiss it’s little tiny feet. It will be so fun to dress baby up and show them off around town. I can almost smell the little tike now….that baby smell not the poopy smell

One thing I don’t know much about is feeding time. I love learning though. I want to be prepared.

mimijumi, a Nashville based company “specializes in simple, safe and natural products for the modern family.“ They create products that are designed just for “baby and parent to create the most natural experience possible.” My guess is the closest to what baby is used to is easier for baby to adapt thus making it easier for mom and dad. Makes sense right?!

“This design is based on the psychological dynamics of feeding/soothing items as transitional objects. The benefits of breastfeeding are well known, but breastfeeding is not always practical in today’s society. Created with input from Designers, Mothers, Nurses, Physicians, and Lactation Experts, mimijumi’s first product the Very Hungry bottle was conceived as a natural, modern and stylish complement to breastfeeding.”

I received the Very Hungry bottle for a review. Because baby won’t make an appearance until June I wasn’t able to actually give it a go but I sure checked it out and learned about it. The Very Hungry bottle has natural colors, textures, and forms unlike most bottles found in the stores. I would think this would make it easier for baby to accept because it reminds them of mommy. This would make for a great complement to breastfeeding or a great transition to bottle feeding. All mimijumi bottles are BPA and latex free, EA free, and exceed US safety standards. Very Hungry holds 8 oz and comes with a Flow Rate 1 (slow) nipple.

One thing I really like about this bottle is it is easy to open. I have seen many mothers trying to open the bottle and prepare it one handed. Easy opening helps! Because of the shape it would be easy to clean. No awkward long skinny bottles or nooks and crannies to have to worry about not getting every inch clean. A couple of other things I learned about the design is the integrated venting prevents colic. Thank you! I dread having a baby with colic. That would be tough. Also, the base is skid-free preventing it from slipping as it is filled. This bottle has everything it seems like!!

I also received the Not So Hungry bottle. This is the same thing as the Very Hungry bottle but it is a 4 oz version. This makes it perfect for newborns and smaller appetites. Isn’t it cute!?

I wish I could have a whole cupboard of these today! I don’t want to use any other bottle! This seems like it is the best of the best!!
