Hidden Jewels! {Diamond Candle Review}

Attention treasure seekers ………..hidden inside the Diamond Candle lies a ring that just may be valuable!

Yes, you heard right, not just a fragrant soy candle, Diamond Candles offer a bit of intrigue by placing a ring just below its waxy surface.  Just allow the 6″ candle to burn for an hour or two and then carefully dig out the gold foil wrapped nugget.  Inside the foil and baggie will be a ring approximately valued at $10, $100, $1000 or even $5,000!!!  Okay, take a breath, what are the odds that you’ll actually strike it rich…….slim, but its the thrill of the unknown (and you could still get a really cute “fake” to wear )

I received the Fresh Snow Diamond Candle to try.  Its light fragrance, was just enough to add scent, but not enough to fill the room.  Time stood still for my girls who practically starred at the candle just waiting for it to melt and nab the loot.  Around two hours went by, and the melted portion reached the gold foil marker seen through the glass (approx. an inch from the top).  We carefully blew out the flame and used tweezers to pull out the foil.  I dried it off and handed it over to my munchkins.  Inside we found an appearingly fake gold ring with a purple stone in the center and two diamond looking stones to either side.  There appeared to be writing inside saying Thailand, so I figured that meant fake, although my hubby is convinced that one of the diamonds looks real (ha,ha!).

After the initial bummer that we hadn’t struck it rich , my girls decided who was going to wear it to school first!  My oldest won the draw so she wore it the next day and of course bragged to everyone about it.  Her teachers all wanted a candle of their own!

Do you need to bring a specialty item to a ladies club or bunco group for gifting?  How about needing a gift for that hard to buy for teen?  At $24.95, Diamond Candles are a unique gift that won’t break the bank.  Candle prices are on the rise anyway….. you may as well enjoy a piece of jewelry as a bonus.  Imagine if you found a ring of value!!
