Drink and Be Merry {Kor Giveaway} CLOSED

Everyone has their favorite coffee mug, popcorn bowl, or frying pan.  Do you have your favorite water bottle?  I recently discovered that I do.  Look at it.P1020339

This is the KOR One Hydration Vessel.  Isn’t that the greatest name?  It is more than just a water bottle.  It is:

  • Made from BPA-free Tritan, health-safe materials
  • Hinged cap for easy open and close (no cap to hold when drinking!)
  • Thread‐less, perfect sized spout (unlike screw‐on caps, you won’t feel like you’re drinking from a water hose)
  • Does not retain or impart flavors; there’s no “metal” or “plastic” taste
  • Easily fits ice cubes in spout
  • Easy carry handle and soft bottom Understand why it is my favorite now?  I don’t have to squeeze the ice cubes in, it sits perfectly on my lips, and it easy to carry around.  Not to mention it doesn’t look like the typical water bottle.  It actually draws a little attention at the gym…although when I am all sweaty and gross sometimes I don’t want attention drawn to me.P1020342

One other thing that makes KOR ONE different from other water bottles/ vessels are the KOR Stones.  These are motivators.  Designed into the cap is a place for the KOR Stone…a disc-shaped token with a message that provides a little bit of inspiration each time you drink.  I choose to put in the “Now Is The Time” token.  This helps remind me that I have chosen to be healthy, make a life style change, and now is the time to work on it.  The goals will no longer wait until tomorrow.  Each vessel comes with fives stones and a blank one for you to write your own inspirational message on.

In addition to building innovative products that reduce environmental impact, they take their social responsibility mission very seriously. KOR donates 1% of all sales to a select group of non-profits that focus on water-related issues. image Their goal is not only to provide much-needed funds to these organizations, but to engage customers on issues such as recycling, watershed protection and the global water crisis.  Vessels come in different colors, relating to the non-profit they support.  In this case, blue helps with ocean protection.  Every time an icy blue KOR ONE is purchased, you are donating to the Sea Shepherd Conservation Society, a global non-profit dedicated to ending the illegal destruction of marine habitat and the slaughter of marine wildlife.

Today, KOR is giving one lucky person an…

I learned from their blog: The next time someone asks how much you can reduce your carbon footprint by drinking from a reusable bottle, you can tell them: its 46 times less than drinking bottled water.
