We had the opportunity to try out this plaque removing toothbrush and boy were we impressed. It is SENSATIONAL. I have never used an electric toothbrush before so I was happy to try this one out. It sits on a nice charging base which holds the toothbrush and two additional tips on my bathroom vanity. I have been using it for the last month and I have to say I am never going back to a regular toothbrush. My teeth feel so clean and I know my dentist will be impressed on my next visit. I am amazed at how much better an electric toothbrush cleans my teeth.
The Waterpik Ultra has state-of-the-art dental water jet technology and provides the ultimate in performance. It comes with six tips, including the new orthodontic and toothbrush tips. If you have braces, the Waterpik Ultra with the orthodontic tip is more than three times as effective as floss at removing plaque.
We also got to try out the water jet. At first I was a bit nervous as I have always hated the water spray event at the dentist office so I was very cautious when trying this the first time. I was able to add my own warm water as my teeth are very sensitive and that I liked. Away I went cleaning my teeth. This system is very easy to use and wow was I impressed with how clean my teeth were when I was finished. I did gag a few times when using it but that was just in the beginning. I have to admit I am not an avid flossing gal so I LOVE this system. This would be great for someone with braces too as it features a special orthodontic tip for those hard to reach areas. I actually use this tip to get behind my permanent retainer on my bottom teeth. I use it three (I know I should use it more!!!) times per week and again my dentist will be super impressed with me!
